Banned by Yahoo Answer and Things Are Getting Better

Here's a post I made about Yahoo Answer:
It 's about how I got banned for no apparent reason (in my opinion).

It told the story of how I react to that.

And now I'm going to share the result after I got banned ;-)

In the end, that network is just a way to gain traffic.

Another way, which we've touched on, is getting traffic organically combining the power of ranking and compelling content.

I've written somewhere that if not because of the ban, I would never have discovered what more I could do.

I used Yahoo! Answer for getting targeted traffic and backlink to my sites.

And losing that logically causes me to lose my visitors and rank, right?

Logically...

But logic can start with a different premises, and that's what I have proven with my effort of:

Made a video and submit it to YouTube

Here's the sample of the video

Let's say I just embrace Video marketing (multimedia marketing).

And I kind of like it.

Even though I'm not doing it totally right since I'm just got out of the gate, but I favor one aspect of video which influence the Search Engine.

Let me prove it to you, with a few snapshots

First, I did a search for "banned by Yahoo Answer" (without quote)

And the results -

Go ahead and click the image to enlarge it but some of the details there are:
  • Over 1.3 million page results
  • and I'm sitting in 4th place ;-) !

But what's more amazing; the video is 2 weeks old!

Yup. 2 weeks...

Um, maybe we'll take a closer look of that particular result shall we?

Hahaha!

I love 'showing off biz' ;-)

That's why I said, "Banned by Yahoo Answer but things are getting better"

What got better?

I get to know my ability better.

I have better Search Engine ranking which I gather can take a while with Blogs.

I have better alternative to my marketing effort.

I find better use of my laptop and its program.

I use my time better with more activities i.e blogging, exchanging traffics, PPC, etc. and make videos ;-)

Lesson from getting banned

One door close, another one open.

Make sure you get in when its open.
