I was referring to one of my websites that is going to expired; both domain and hosting, and I am not planning to renew either one.
Why?
I'm not going to elaborate on the why because it's something personal.
In fact, I think it's better for me to let it end this way and take me out from some 'financial' situation misery almost automatically.
I won't be missed.
I am sure of it.
But here's the point in making herein:
Before you even searching for good domain name and hosting, I strongly recommend assessing your total financial situation and if you think you're still not 'fit', financially, carry on with the free solution until you can afford a paid one, especially, if you are thinking of building this business in your spare time.
Losing a domain and building a new one are not 'unusual'.
It can happen to me or to someone who's more experience than me.
The main thing is to keep evolving and keep moving forward.
Let bygone be bygone, as they say.
Another issue that I'm facing and will serve as good reminders to others is the issue of 'up-time'.
Right now, there is one web-hosting that I use is giving me a headache over this issue.
I know it is a hassle to move right now but if enough pain is built up, I know I will.
Oh!
Up-time means the total time your website exist on the world wide web.
Every time you type in the URL, you'll see your website and NOT 'error 505: internal server error', for example.
It is good to keep my option wide open, just in case, and I recommend you to do the same...
