Headache fits better into physical ailment unlike mental exhaustion and its remedy which we've looked at before.
And yes, mental exhaustion is 'real' like I've also shared:
The article reflects on the concept of mental exhaustion, especially from working solo on personal projects. The writer shares the fatigue of balancing testing, measuring, and tweaking in pursuit of goals, revealing that physical stamina doesn’t always match mental endurance. This mental toll, despite outsourcing attempts, stems from continuous learning and doing everything independently, ultimately leading to burnout.
But let's get back to the matter at hand. To kick things off, here's...
Paracetamol:
It's already cheap and available in almost every home. When headache strikes, it's like a natural reflex to reach out a tablet or two to remedy it.
My friends have been talking about this topic and a few volunteer their piece of mind.
One friend said paracetamol helps...
Another friend send a link to an article about the danger of PCM...
Another one, talks about using cannabis to combat the headache!
Quite revolutionary because that subject opens up new discussion on the religion side of its usage.
Then:
There's another, talks about using isotonic drink as remedy.
Since he's a qualified pharmacist, others hang on to his word.
And the discussion went on smoothly...
From the science behind headache to the mechanism of how isotonic drink rectifies the condition.
His only suggestion is to dilute the volume of isotonic into half, and add plain water, to make it 50 iso - 50 water.
Same goes with Gatorade...
But I don't think Gatorade is cheap over here, so, everyone agrees to 100 Plus as the brand of choice.
PCM and cheaper version that public gets from Government Hospitals are often viewed as quick fix to many ailments and not only headache.
People pops the pill if they feel feverish...
They pop it when they have joint pain...
They even pop it just for fun! For no medical reason!
It's true.
The med is dirt cheap.
Heck, it's free, in fact.
But free in monetary terms does not equal to free in adverse event term.
Of course:
The adverse event doesn't surface until later and obviously it's not worth the wait.
Not worth at all...
People can also go for patches; medicated patches.
They used to emit funny smell once applied but the soothing effect is undeniable.
Now there are patches for all sort of uses - detox, pain relief, etc.
And they're not cheap!
So:
If you can't afford the patches nor can you afford to wait for PCM adverse events to pay you a visit, event like stomachache, liver dysfunction, renal dysfunction - just to name a few to scare you - go for my pharmacy friend recommended cheap remedy for headache you can do at home: a mixture of isotonic and plain water in half-half proportion.
Hope this help...
