How it all started...
The previous article reflects on the concept of mental exhaustion, especially from working solo on personal projects. The writer shares the fatigue of balancing testing, measuring, and tweaking in pursuit of goals, revealing that physical stamina doesn’t always match mental endurance. This mental toll, despite outsourcing attempts, stems from continuous learning and doing everything independently, ultimately leading to burnout.
Which leads to:
A few days ago, I blab about mental exhaustion that I was experiencing. A few days after (today actually), I've found a remedy for it. Well, it's not in an actual sense a medication or stuff like that, but it's more of a strategy.
It makes sense, totally because...
Mental ailment needs mental remedy
Simple, right? It was simple in hindsight but not while I was in the middle of it.
Perhaps:
I was in luck because I did not stop and accept the condition...
I seek the remedy.
And I found it by taking action.
Not huge, robust action.
They are small, tiny but effective action.
Let me self review the small steps I have taken:
Know what the issue is. The very first step that I've taken is to get to the root of the issue. In this case, I didn't meet my own expectation with my effort. I did so much but get 'less' much.
Learn from others. I did not exist in isolation, so, I go on the web and search for others who were experiencing the same condition and learn how they handle it.
Try it on me. Knowing alone is not enough. The real power comes from taking action. I try on a few simple actions to see if they fit.
And now for the detail...
I was getting tired (exhausted) from researching, planning and writing contents for a niche I'm after.
I have already a nice body of site structure and numbers of posts...
But they're not producing the result I've set.
Even with few outsource tasks that I did, the result was still below expectation.
I was already exhausted, to say the least...
Then I take a break from everything (Oh! Take a break needs to be on the small action list above...) and wander online for solution or maybe inspiration.
And I've found a website that talks about my exact issue and its effective remedy.
Heck! It was so obvious in hindsight...
I've thought about it but never give the seriousness it deserves.
Being a stubborn stud like I am, I still want to pursue with what I'm doing but with a slight modification.
The remedy inspires me to take different action now.
How would it turns out?
I'll find out soon.
I already kick off my tiny actions to see if these fit :-)
And for those days when fatigue triggers headaches, there’s nothing like an affordable, quick fix. I shared my favorite go-to for this in Cheap Remedy for Headache You Can Do at Home.
