Singaporeans are making their way to Kuantan

This should come to no surprise. A small town like Kuantan should be a heavenly place for Singapore travelers who can afford to throw around cash due to 'advantageous' currency conversion (SG Dollar to RM). By air or by land, they can always find good bargain. Rumors have it that even CapitaMall belongs to Singaporean. If you pass by housing lots at Telok Chempedak, I suspect many of the houses there owned by them too.

Air Asia resumes KL-Kuantan Route From October 28th

It used to be just MAS operating to and from Kuala Lumpur and now Air Asia is back in action. If I were still active doing Grab gig, this should be music to the ears. But, well, I've slowed down, way way down after seeing the monumental increase in the numbers of fellow Grab operators in town. But good to know we have an extra flight operator now.

It took a while during the Covid-19 Pandemic but there's light at the end of the tunnel in 2022. I haven't peek what's inside (more like what's on top) but at least there's something to explore this year, despite the notorious spreading of Omicron. Let's see if we can slip in some pictures soon :)

[March 11,2022] Restaurant at Menara 188 Kuantan Opens in April

Perhaps, this is going to satisfy two human needs - the eyes and the belly. If you've not cover the whole of Kuantan town, the bird's eyes view from the top of Menara 188 should provide you with good enough 'feel' of the whole town, and the town is not that big anyway. It is also gratifying to be able to enjoy all that while sipping your favorite beverages and munching on your favorite dishes. But of course, I made no guarantee of the taste and the cost.
